A substitute teacher provides classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive, orderly environment. They follow lesson plans, manage student behavior, and support students with assignments and activities as needed.

Hiring Process

Please complete the application by clicking the link above. If selected, you will be notified via email.

You will receive a New Hire Packet via email containing required documents to be submitted electronically.

If you have not been fingerprinted, you will receive a Fast Pass to schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting will cost $52.00 at the time of your appointment.

Once the fingerprinting process is complete, you will receive an invitation to attend orientation and complete your I-9 Employment Verification form. A list of documents you will need to bring with you to orientation will be provided.
Red Rover
Red Rover is the Substitute Placement system used by Trinity Basin Preparatory. Once your Red Rover profile is created, you will be able to receive and accept available sub assignments, as well as manage your availability, campus preferences and more!
